History
FESIL Legierungshandel GmbH was established on 04.12.1973 as a marketing representative of the Norwegian producer FESIL KS, Oslo (from 1998: FESIL Sales AS, Trondheim).
The objective was initially to sell the materials produced in the works of the parent company exclusively within Germany and its neighbouring countries.
In addition to mergers with smaller-scale trading companies, the strategic participation in GfM Gesellschaft für Metallurgie Hafner & Polte mbH in the year 2000 can also be described as a milestone. Participation in that company, for its part established on 24.11.1976, has expanded our trading portfolio to include pig iron and alloying briquettes.
The company, henceforward trading under the name of GfM FESIL Gesellschaft für Metallurgie und Legierungshandel mbH, has over the years experienced continual expansion of its product programme, particularly in the field of alloys and metals, and is to this day a dependable contact in the central European market.
