General

Alloying by using briquettes is part of the standard metallurgical procedure employed in cupola furnaces.

For this reason, the most important briquette grades, such as

  • Silicon Carbide Briquettes
  • Ferro Manganese Briquettes
  • Ferro Silicon Briquettes
  • Ferro Phosphorus Briquettes

are part of the production programme at our Duisburg plant based on reliable raw material sources.

Quality

The high quality of our briquettes is due to the purity of the raw materials as verified by the producer, the inspection of raw materials on arrival and of the finished product by independent laboratories and a quality assurance system designed in conformity with DIN EN ISO 9001.

The precise monitoring of all processes coupled with comprehensive controls of analyses allow us to vary the composition of the briquettes, in particular with regard to

  • C
  • Al2O3
  • SiO2
  • CaO

to suit our customers individual requirements.
